Maria Elisa Medeiros
Creator and founder of SURI. Maria Elisa is a dancer, actress, cultural producer, lawyer and internationalist. Through dance, she had the opportunity to travel to different places, to meet many people and to found Cia Sesc de Dance in Minas Gerais / Brazil. Since 2015, she has been a member of the IADC-UNESCO International Dance Council. Member of the Criminalology and Criminal Policies Council of the State of Minas Gerais since 2015, where she serves as Chairman of the Commission on Female Incarceration. She believes that good connections generate resilient networks and collective benefits.

Clarissa Medeiros
Clarissa is a medical researcher, obstetrician gynecologist and mastologist. She is holder of the Brazilian Society of Mastology and preceptor of academics and residents of Universities of São Paulo. Work on health, prevention and well-being, including lectures, medical advice and other activities that promote better quality of life for women.

Gina Panagiotopoulou
Product engineer and exhibition spaces designer. Since 2007 she is working in the areas of cultural production, elaboration and monitoring of exhibition design projects for cultural institutions, museums and national and international festivals (Brazil, Greece, Spain, United States, Uruguay). Since 2013 she is co-creator of the Weedschat art project based in Athens, Greece and since 2018 she is a member of Studio Andalou, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She believes that art and culture are fundamental tools in the social development.

SURI’s first partner company is Fernanda Daudt’s Volta Atelier, designer and consultant.
The brand, created in 2017, operates in the market supported by principles of sustainable fashion. Their handbags and accessories are hand-sewn by refugee women in Rio Grande do Sul and by imprisoned and socially vulnerable women from Minas Gerais. Volta Atelier’s pieces use as raw material the reused leather from the footwear industry surplus. And so, Volta Atelier unites care for the environment and social support.

Camila Rocha – Estático Zero Fotografias
In love with people, Camila specializes in photographing them, making this passion her role in the market since 2015. Denise Torres
An architect, passionate about handicrafts, saw the crochet hobby as an opportunity. She founded Gadot Atelier, a handbags brand that uses knit yarn, waste from the textile industry, as raw material. Together with Suri she has been developing training for women empowerment.
